Halloween Colouring Competition
Do your kids love colouring?
You may not know that as well as illustrating and creating surface pattern designs, I’m also a qualified art teacher. I resigned from teaching in a private college to teach extra-curricular art to kids in our home instead. I have a lot of fun every week with the wonderful children who come to my classes. They love Halloween as it’s such a creative time and the perfect excuse to dress up and have some fun.
I’ve got a Halloween colouring book for kids coming out soon and would love to offer your kids two free pages from the book. You can also enter their finished colourings into a fun competition I’m running in the lead up to Halloween. We don’t take competitions too seriously at Hush the Moon, it’s more about everyone having fun.

This is the cover of the book which will be a mixture of Australian animals celebrating the witching hour and cute little witches, wizards and fairies.
I’ve still got more illustrations to do but wanted to get the colouring event started first.
CONDITIONS
- Open to kids ages 7-14
- Two age Groups – 7-10 and 11-14
- You must be a subscriber of the Hush the Moon newsletter.
- Australian residents only
- 1 entry only per child
- no digital artworks – any other mediums are fine such as coloured pencils, paint, textas, alcohol markers etc
- Two prizes per age group – one skill based, the other a lucky draw.
- Finished coloured entries e-mailed to studio@hushthemoon.com
- Entries must be received by 8pm on Monday 21 October 2024.

I can’t wait to see the colourings by your young creatives and by entering you agree that I can showcase them on the Hush the Moon website, Instagram and Facebook pages. All colourings will be watermarked with your child’s first name.
